Anjaneri Hanuman Temple

Scarlet color meditation posture huge statue of Anjaneya Hanuman is situated at ANJANERI, one of the forts in the mountain range on the main road connecting Nashik city and Trimbakeshwar (Famous Lord Shiva Great Jyotirlinga Temple), around 20 kms from Nashik by Trimbak Road in the Indian state of MAHARASHTRA. There is a sign board announcing that Anjaneri is the birthplace of God Hanuman and is named after Lord Hanuman's mother 'Anjani'. Bhagwan Hanuman spent his childhood and grew up on the same mountain. Anjaneri parvat could be seen on the back drop of this Hanuman temple. The primary way to reach the Anjaneri fort is from Anjaneri village. One should get down at Anjaneri Phata, which is 20 kms away from Nasik on the Nasik-Tryambakeshwar Road. Anjaneri village is at a walking distance of 10 to 15 minutes from Anjaneri Phata. The way to fort goes through Anjaneri village itself.
