Hanumat Dham

104 feet height sky-touching orange colored sculpture of Lord Hanuman, showing Ram-Sita in his heart, is situated at Hanumat Dham, Visrat Ghat, Shahjahanpur belongs to Shahjahanpur district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Shahjahnpur is well connected with major Indian cities by rail and road from Bareilly and Lucknow. The place is located about 5 kms away from the bus stand and railway station of Shahjahanpur.

Lord Hanumant statue is located in a manmade island (or artificial island) with calm Khannaut River flowing around just looks cool.

Sita Samahit Sthal-Sitamarhi

108 feet height gigantic majestic statue of Sri Sita Nandan Hanumanji installed on an artificial rock of 20 feet is located at holy temple Sita Samahit Sthal (Sitamarhi) and situated almost midway between ALLAHABAD & VARANASI just beside the National Highway No. 2 on the banks of holy River Ganges under Bhadohi district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is located about 13 Kms from Jangiganj and just 7 Kms from the Bhiti. One can get bus or taxi from Gopiganj, an important town between Allahabad & Varanasi.
Sita Samahit Sthal is the location where Sita Mata goes into the lap of Mother Earth after her exile at Maharshi Valmiki Ashram in the forest of Sitamarhi.

Hanumant Dham

72 feet height tallest sculpture of Lord Hanuman is located at religious town SHUKRATAL belongs to MUZAFFARNAGAR district in the Indian state of UTTAR PRADESH. Shukratal is basically 27 kms away from the Muzaffarnagar railway station. It is located over the Bhopa road and comes just crossing the Morna village.

Shukratal is also known as Shukrteerth, which means Land of Praises. This is the town wherein as per the Hindu beliefs, around 5000 years ago, Rishi Shukdevji (son of Veda Vyasa, the writer of Mahabharat), was seen narrating the entire religious scriptures Shrimad Bhagwat (or Bhagwatam Puran) to King Parikshit Maharaj (grandson of Arjun and son of Abhimanyu) for duration of one week till he breath his last when was bitten by a snake. As per Hindus believe, this snake was King Takshak who was converted into a reptile due to the curse given by him.

Hanuman Dham :- 72 feet height idol of Hanuman, which is considered as one of the largest idol of Hanuman in the world built in year 1687. As per the historians, more than 700 paper chits with different God’s names have been put inside this idol. This idol is located close to Shukdev Temple, which is based over the banks of River Ganga. Just beside the Hanuman idol, one can find a number of rooms that are being constructed for residential purposes for the Saints, devotees and other visiting this religious town. In terms of location the idol of Hanuman too has a great importance. It is surrounded by a number of temples from different sides of Hindu Gods and Deities.

Vat Vriksha :- 150 feet height an old banyan tree, supposedly more than 5100 years old and still green today, is connected with times of Mahabharat (India’s Greatest Epic). As per Hindu belief, this banyan tree (Vat Vriksha) has been the entire episode of King Parikshit Maharaj, which has made this tree immortal for ages. It casts some of the most soothing king of shadows, while the branches of tree resemble to the hands of any God who shower his blessings on people coming to his refuge. The uniqueness of this tree is that one would not see any single fibrous practical roots coming out from it. Vat Vrikdha has become symbolic to peace and forgiveness wherein every year religious devotees come to take the blessings of God from this tree. The devotees do a parikrama (circling over the perimeter of Vat Vriksha) on foot.

Ganesh Dham :- 35 feet height grand statue of Lord Ganesha, one of the important deity of Hindu community. This Ganesh idol is considered as unique in many ways. Over right of the statue is immortal Vat Vriksha and to its left one can see the auspicious Tripatha river flowing. Over the bank side is Shukdeva Teela wherein the massive size of Hanuman idol is standing. All these factors simply add beauty to Ganesh Dham.

Shiv Dham :- 101 feet height huge idol of Lord Shankar, which makes it appear from faraway places. It also carries a number of other idols as well, which is located over the North West side of Shukdev Temple.

Durga Dham :- 51 feet height tallest idol of Goddess of strength and power as Durga Ma, which is just located near idol of Lord Shankar. There is a cave adjacent to Durga Mata idol, which was developed by a team of devotees based in Muzaffarnagar a couple of years before for spiritual activities like satsangs & meditations.

Sita Samahit Sthal-Sitamarhi

108 feet height towering magnificent sculpture of Shri Sita Nandan Hanumanji, which is installed on an artificial rock of 20 feet at holy temple Sita Samahit Sthal (Sitamarhi), situated almost midway between ALLAHABAD and VARANASI just beside the National Highway No. 2 on the banks of River Ganges belongs to BHADOHI district in the Indian state of UTTAR PRADESH. Under this hillock there is a cave having small temple of Hanumanji.
The two cities of religious importance Jangiganj and Bhiti are situated on the GT Road also known as Sher Shah Suri Marg on NH-2 from where roads lead to Sitamarhi. It is 13 Kms from the Jangiganj and just 7 Kms from the Bhiti. One can get bus or taxi from Gopiganj, an important town between Allahabad and Varanasi.
Sita Samahit Sthal is a historical place of immense reverence and is being visited by thousands of pilgrims’ everyday with deep faith and devotion.
Sitamarhi (or Sitamadhi) carries deep religious values and significance hence it is considered as a holy Teerth. It is one of the five ‘Teerths’ (holy places) in Poorvanchal which are Prayagraj, Sitamarhi, Sarnath, Vindhyavasini & Kashiraj.
Prayagraj is also called "Teerthraj Prayag" and is famous for its Triveni Sangam of three holy rivers- two physical rivers Ganges & Yamuna, and the invisible or mythical Saraswati River (A bath here is said to flush away all of one's sins and free one from the cycle of rebirth and will clear the way to heaven). Prayagraj is a place of religious importance and the site for historic Kumbh Mela held every 12 years.
Maharishi Valmiki (also called Adi Kavi, writer of Sanskrit Ramayan in Slokas) Ashram is also located on the banks of River Ganges near to this sacred spot.
At this place, one feels vibrations of peace & bliss along with the feeling that there exist the blessings of Maa Sita.
It is said that this temple is the place, where Devi Sita went into the lap of Mother Earth forever when she willed it while she was living at Maharshi Valmiki Ashram in the forest of Sitamarhi, when Bhagwan Shri Ram came to Devi Sita (her wife) to ask her to come with him.
According to Ramayan story when Bhagwan Shri Ram returned from the grand victory on Ravan (the powerful King of Lanka who abducted Devi Sita) and after becoming the King of Ayodhya, a big Ashwamegha Yajna was held by Lord Shri Ram and the white horse of that grand Yajna was released from Ayodhya. The white horse was to move in any direction or in any kingdom and the king of that kingdom should have to declare Ayodhya’s King Ram as his emperor and will pay duty every year.
When the white horse was wandering in the jungle of now Baripur village of Bhadohi district, the two sons of Mata Sita captured the Yajna horse according to the declaration that was tagged on the forehead of the white horse. All the great warriors of Lord Shri Ram Including Lakshman, Bharat, Satrughn, Sugreev, Nal-Neel were defeated in the fierce battle between the twins Luv & Kush. The most powerful Hanumanji was also tied by them.
At last the Great Maharaja of Ayodhya Shri Ram had come to that place to fight the two children. No one knew that both boys are the prince of Ayodhya and the sons of King Ram. When Raja Ram came to the battlefield, all the holy souls of the three worlds (Triloka) comes to see the rare scene and Bhagwati Sita also comes to Bhagwan Shri Ram and said with folded palm that she served with her all efforts & love now it is time to end this human life (not human life because they are God and Goddess). After that Devi Sita asked her Mother Earth to take her into her lap forever. She left behind her two sons Luv & Kush whom Lord Shri Ram took to the Great Ayodhya Empire.

Chitrakoot Dham

Huge statue of Ramdoot Hanuman is located at middle of Ram Ghat, CHITRAKOOT DHAM belongs to Chitrakoot district in the Indian state of UTTAR PRADESH. Chitrakoot is situated around 130 kms from TeerthRaaj Prayag (Today’s Allahabad). Whole Shri Hanuman Chalisa, Sankat Mochan Hanumanashtak, Shri Hanumanji Ki Aarti and Bajrang Baan composer Goswami Tulsidas is written on the stone on which this huge statue is placed. This statue is painted in dark orange color which looks more colorful & beautiful.
RAM GHAT is a long stretch of steps made on the bank of Payaswani River. It is believed that Lord Ram bathed here with Sitaji and Lakshman on their arrival in Chitrakoot. Goswami Tulsidas is also believed to have lived here for quite some time. It is the place where he is believed to have Darshan of Bhagwan Shri Ram & Lakshman.
CHITRAKOOT is the place where Bhagwan Shri Ram with wife Sita and brother Lakshman spend his time during exile.
KAMADGIRI MOUNTAIN, the mountain which fulfills all the wishes and desires by taking its Parikrama or Pradakshina, this place is believed to have been the abode of God Shri Ram, Sita Devi and Lakshman Jati during their exile.
SPHATIK SHILA, reddish crystal like rock, where Lord Ram and his beloved wife Sita used to sit and admire the scenic ambiance of the surroundings.
SITA RASOI at Chitrakoot is situated about 100 feet from the Hanuman Dhara. This is the place where Devi Sita is said to have cooked Kandmools (root vegetables).
LAKSHMAN PAHADI or Lakshman Hill, situated on the Parikrama or Pradakshina Path of the Kamadgiri Mountain half way from the Pramukh Dwar, is the hillock where Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Ram, spent most of his time when he retired from the services of his elder brother Shri Ram and Bhabhi Sita. He used to guard the Kamadgiri Mountain when Lord Ram & Devi Sita used to rest.
BHARAT MILAP MANDIR, is the place in Chitrakoot where Bharat, after performing final rites of his father King Dasharath, comes from Ayodhya with his three mothers Kaushalya, Kaikeyi and Sumitra to meet his elder brother Shri Ram to offer him Ayodhya’s kingdom. The foot prints of Lord Ram and his brother Bharat are still engraved here. It is such a touching occasion that even stones melted owing to overwhelming emotions and carry their foot prints to this day.
BHARAT KOOP is a Huge Well near Bharatpur village located around 20 kms from the west of Chitrakoot. It is believed that Lord Ram’s brother Bharat brought water from all the holy places to anoint Lord Ram as a King of Ayodhya. But Bharat was unsuccessful in persuading Lord Ram to return to his kingdom. When Lord Ram did not agree then Bharat poured the holy water in this well as per instructions of Maharishi Atri. It is believed that after having bath from the water of this well means bathing in all teerths.
RAGHAV-PRAYAG GHAT, the place where Lord Ram performed “Pitru Tarpan” making offerings to his father King Dasharath who expired after Lord Ram went into exile.
HANUMAN DHARA, a lovely hillock with Hanuman Temple, it is believed that this cascade was created to ease the hardship of Hanuman while he returned from Lanka after setting fire to Lanka. Lord Ram pierces an arrow in this mountain which springs up water which relieves Shri Hanuman. The spring that falls on the deity temple idol gradually fills the nearby Kund. Hanuman Dhara gives an implausible view of the legendary town of Chitrakoot.
