Mahavir Mandir, one of the holiest hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, is located at Patrakar Nagar, PATNA in the Indian state of BIHAR. It is situated right in the front of Patna Junction, station of the city. From the scrutiny of historical facts and traditions it appears that this temple was originally established by Swami Balanand, an Ascetic of RAMANANDI-SADHU sect in around year 1730.
Million of pilgrims visit the temple every year and is the second most visited religious shrine in North India. Long winding queues can be seen at the temple on Saturdays and Tuesdays, the traditional worshiping days of Lord Hanuman.
